Cory Wiedel, CEO & Founder
As Complete Nutrition’s founder and trusted leader, Cory Wiedel offers franchisees over 15 years of invaluable knowledge and insight of the nutritional supplement industry. Cory began his career in Beatrice, Nebraska, when he opened his first GNC franchise store. Within 6 years, Cory and his wife Jeri owned 15 GNC stores, all of which were top revenue-producing stores. In 2001, Cory started NDS Nutrition. NDS Nutrition focused on selling nutrition supplements to GNC franchisees. In 2008, Cory sold NDS Nutrition to a publically traded company to focus on his new retail concept, Complete Nutrition. Cory’s vision for Complete Nutrition was to give the industry as a whole a new fresh outlook on nutrition. He centered on the idea of providing customers with better education, motivation and follow up, while providing positive change through nutrition supplements. Cory’s vision has proven to be a huge success, as seen by the franchise’s rapid store growth. In January 2010, Complete Nutrition had 19 locations in operation. Today, Complete Nutrition has over 123 franchises in 30+ states.
A native of Hebron, Nebraska, Cory graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Cory and his wife, Jeri, have three children: Desire, Jayden, and Jagger.
Ryan Zink, President
Ryan Zink understands franchising. For nearly a decade, Ryan has been involved in numerous capacities of nutrition supplement franchising. Ryan began his career in 2003 managing a GNC franchise store. Over the course of his time with the company, Ryan managed 15 stores, five of which proved to be top revenue-producers. In 2007, Ryan partnered with Cory Wiedel while serving as President of NDS Nutrition, a nutrition supplement wholesaler to GNC. In 2008, Ryan and Cory sold NDS to a publically traded company and began to focus on their new retail concept, Complete Nutrition. Centered on the idea providing customers with better education, motivation and follow up, while providing positive change through nutrition supplements, Complete Nutrition has proven to be a huge success.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Ryan graduated from the University of Nebraska – Omaha with Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Ryan and his wife, Mandy, currently have 2 children.
Chris Gille, VP Retail Development
A seasoned entrepreneur with over 15 years of business experience, Chris Gille has played a vital role in the founding of three business ventures prior to joining the Complete Nutrition team. Chris’ resume also includes time spent leading operations for a division of Intuit, Inc. and time served as Director of Business Development for a subsidiary of GMAC insurance. Complete Nutrition became acquainted with Chris when he inquired about starting a franchise of his own. However, given his extensive business knowledge and experience, Complete Nutrition asked Chris to join the team on the corporate level. Chris’ strong passion for health, development, and ‘the customer’ led him to accept the offer. Chris’ leadership has been essential to the development of the franchise infrastructure as well as the company’s explosive store growth.
A native of Omaha, NE, Chris graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Chris and his wife, Carey, who serves as Complete Nutrition’s Director of Franchise Development, have six children: Cade, Chloe, Wesley, Carsen, Grant and Camden.
Mark Stanek, Chief Operations Officer
With nine years of experience, Mark Stanek joined our parent as Chief Operations Officer of Complete Nutrition, Inc. in August 2008 and currently holds the same position with us. From November 1999 to July 2008, Mark was the Vice President of Walkers, Inc., an Omaha, Nebraska based company which operates a dry cleaning retail chain of approximately 35 stores in the Omaha metropolitan area, a uniform and textile rental division that rents uniforms and textiles to customers located in Iowa and Nebraska and an embroidery and ad specialty division that sells embroidered, screen printed and ad specialty items to customers throughout the United States.
Mark graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and completed his Masters of Business Administration at Bellevue University. In his spare time, Mark enjoys sports, boating and anything his children are involved in.
Amy Bailey, Chief Marketing Officer
As a classically trained brand marketer with over 20 years of business experience, Amy Bailey brings a unique combination of international, entrepreneurial and consultative experience to Complete Nutrition. She gained valuable experience at Kraft Foods where she managed products such as Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, A1 and Cool Whip. She also launched Easy Mac which generations of tweens and Moms thank her for! She gained significant franchise experience while leading Brand Strategy & Innovation efforts for Applebee’s. She also gained expertise in Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership Development as a management consultant for Right Management. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA from The Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She is also a certified Executive Coach, an adjunct professor at University of Nebraska-Omaha and a licensed BBQ judge. Outside of work, Amy enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Anton Ames, Chief Information Officer
Anton’s passion for implementing business solutions brings enormous value to Complete Nutrition. From the front lines of retail support at Hallmark Cards to the top ranking IT official at leading healthcare and financial institutions, Anton is credited with implementing significant operational improvements and strong ROI. Besides IT leadership and strategic planning, Anton’s experience includes directing application and database development efforts and working as a consultant to implement and support ERP systems. Improving ROI and reducing TCO through integration, standardization, governance, leadership and business alignment continue to be his focus. Anton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Managing Information Systems and obtained an MBA from the University of Missouri‐Kansas City’s Bloch School of Management. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the UMKC Executive MBA program, teaching Information Technology as a Strategic Tool. Outside of work, Anton enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children.
Brian Breen, Chief Financial Officer
Brian Breen joined Complete Nutrition as Chief Financial Officer in February 2012. Prior to joining the Company, Brian served as VP & Treasurer of Oriental Trading Company, Inc. headquartered in Omaha, NE. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer of The Service Companies, Inc. in Miami Lakes, FL. and was Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Simmons Bedding Company in Atlanta, GA. He has extensive experience working with private equity sponsors, debt/equity offerings and enterprise transactions. Mr. Breen is a certified treasury professional and earned his MBA from Brenau University in Atlanta, GA.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Brian and his wife Shawn enjoy golf, hiking with their dog (Finley) and North Carolina Tar Heel basketball.
Heidi Bedlan - Franchise Sales Coordinator
Heidi Bedlan joined the Complete Nutrition team in early 2012 as the Franchise Sales Coordinator. Her extensive real estate and retail sales background, along with her drive and enthusiasm for the health and wellness industry makes her a valued asset to the company. Heidi’s diverse business experience in financial planning, sales management and human resources allowed her to gain a passion for relationship-based sales. Previously she held several positions with one of the nation’s largest home builders. Most recently as the Director of Human Resources, Heidi was heavily involved in sales management, marketing and operations. Before taking a break to raise her children in 2001, Heidi was an Account Executive with one of the world’s largest cosmetic companies, Clinique, where she was responsible for driving sales in the Midwest states region. She obtained the highest sales accolades every year she was there.
As a native of Elkorn, NE, Heidi is currently attending Nebraska Wesleyan University where she is studying Communications. Heidi and her husband, Ryan have 4 children—Isabella, Jensen, Harrison and Chloe. Outside of work she enjoys family, entertaining, anything active and supporting her children in their sporting activities.
